Faith Baptist Church congregation has been serving the community of Nebraska City, the County of Otoe and the SW region of Nebraska since 1957 with the timeless message of the Bible and the cross of Jesus. Our prayer for you is that God will give you the understanding that you need so that you can know Jesus as Savior and Lord with all the joy and opportunities that offers. Jesus is our focus so our teaching and service is aimed to honor Him. Come join us in discovering all that He is and does in these changing days. Hebrews 13:8 says that “Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”  True security in the storms of life!!

At Faith Baptist we welcome all honest questions. Questions that seek to divide or split hairs are discouraged. Understanding the Message of the Bible requires good communication by all parties, so consider the words of Jesus “Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be open to you.” Matthew 7:7-8 or “Seek the Lord and his strength, seek His face continually.” 1 Chronicles 16:11

Our building is an historical part of Nebraska City. It was built in the 1800’s and has been the place where many people have sought the Lord over the last 150+ years. The building where we worship is not the true church as Jesus referred to it, but the people who serve the Lord Jesus who worship there make up the real church.  Jesus chose the word “church” as an expression of our being called out of the world to be transformed by His redeeming work to be sent out, back into the world to share the Good News of Salvation with others.
